上海金蘋果雙語(yǔ)學(xué)校國(guó)際部化學(xué)教師參加首屆化學(xué)教育論壇

為更好地促進(jìn)IBDP-MYP、Alevel-IGCSE、AP等國(guó)際課程化學(xué)教育教學(xué)水平的共同提升,推動(dòng)國(guó)際教育穩(wěn)定、高水平地發(fā)展,首屆國(guó)際課程化學(xué)教育論壇于2019年11月23號(hào)順利舉辦。來(lái)自全國(guó)的8位國(guó)際課程的優(yōu)秀教師分別就幾種國(guó)際課程做了經(jīng)驗(yàn)分享。為了進(jìn)一步提升老師們的教學(xué)水平,上海金蘋果雙語(yǔ)學(xué)校國(guó)際部劍橋中心的肖倩、梁芳和高玉香三位化學(xué)教師參加了此次論壇。

通過(guò)參加此次教育論壇,三位老師也各有收獲

梁芳老師:

Thanks a lot for all teachers sharing their precious teaching experiences with us. Their ideas are very practical and useful. I reflect with my teaching course. First of all, it is vital to trigger students’ intrinsic interest even with little probability. During our 40 minutes class time, we can show how knowledge applies in real life and use a variety of student-active teaching strategies. Second, as English is the second language for students, vocabulary is a big problem. So teachers need to identify key words clearly and define vocabulary. Then teachers incorporate new words throughout the course which means a subconscious approach to learning. And we insert variations whenever possible. The last but very important is practice and repetition as many times as possible. For teachers, we hope students can have a sense of success through their learning of chemistry, and improving their ability to solve problems independently. As chemistry is based on experiments. It is great to build chemistry club which students can do many interesting experiments together with their spare time.

高玉香老師:

首先感謝組織方和學(xué)校給我們提供了這么好的學(xué)習(xí)機(jī)會(huì)!在這次論壇中,聆聽(tīng)了來(lái)自全國(guó)各地的8位國(guó)際課程的優(yōu)秀一線老師們的全英文分享,受益匪淺。因?yàn)樽约阂彩莿駻level課程的老師,所以對(duì)于三位針對(duì)Alevel課程的老師的分享印象深刻。**位老師的A Level化學(xué)教學(xué)中,如何激發(fā)學(xué)生內(nèi)在的學(xué)習(xí)興趣給了我很多啟示。興趣是比較好的老師,通過(guò)多種途徑激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)化學(xué)的興趣相當(dāng)于開(kāi)啟了學(xué)生自主學(xué)習(xí)的內(nèi)動(dòng)力;這位老師通過(guò)一些課堂實(shí)例跟我們分享了她采取的一些激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)興趣的方法,其中,也有我在上課中用到的方法:化學(xué)來(lái)源于生活,服務(wù)于生活,將化學(xué)和生活實(shí)際,更利于學(xué)生化學(xué)的學(xué)習(xí)和理解。這就要求我們老師要經(jīng)常進(jìn)行自我學(xué)習(xí)和自我提高。另外一位來(lái)自深圳的老師跟我們分享了化學(xué)中很重要的一部分:Alevel化學(xué)實(shí)驗(yàn)的教學(xué),他把自己的教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)傾囊相告, 非常謙虛的與大家交流經(jīng)驗(yàn), 不僅讓我學(xué)到了一些教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn),也學(xué)到了這位老師謙虛好學(xué)的做人之道。最后一位老師就化學(xué)社團(tuán)的開(kāi)展為大家介紹了經(jīng)驗(yàn)??傊?,對(duì)我來(lái)說(shuō)這是一次很好的學(xué)習(xí)機(jī)會(huì),我會(huì)將本次學(xué)到的新的教學(xué)方法應(yīng)用到我的教學(xué)中,進(jìn)一步提升學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)化學(xué)的熱情。再次感謝組織方、學(xué)校和優(yōu)秀的老師們提供的學(xué)習(xí)機(jī)會(huì)!

肖倩老師:

在這次國(guó)際課程化學(xué)教育論壇中,來(lái)自全國(guó)各地的八位優(yōu)秀國(guó)際教育者分享各自的教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)、方法、收獲和感想,對(duì)我來(lái)說(shuō)收獲非常大。印象最深的是郁旻老師在“A Level化學(xué)-激發(fā)內(nèi)在的學(xué)習(xí)興趣”提到將化學(xué)原理融入生活,類比生活事例,激發(fā)學(xué)生內(nèi)在學(xué)習(xí)興趣和動(dòng)力;另外Dr. Sandra Simon提到專業(yè)詞匯的積累,協(xié)調(diào)英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言和知識(shí)點(diǎn)傳授,以及分子建模等方法;還有很多用實(shí)驗(yàn)激發(fā)學(xué)習(xí)興趣,理論與創(chuàng)新實(shí)驗(yàn)活動(dòng)成果展示等。這些來(lái)自一線教學(xué)的動(dòng)情的切身教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)和體悟讓我感同身受,這些優(yōu)秀教育者的創(chuàng)新奉獻(xiàn)精神也讓我敬佩有加。希望以后能有更多的這樣的交流和學(xué)習(xí)的機(jī)會(huì),博采眾長(zhǎng),助力自己的教學(xué)和成長(zhǎng)。
