在郝老師的有序組織下，本學期共舉辦3場加拿大滑鐵盧大學的系列競賽。具體日期分別是：2021年2月的Pascal數(shù)學競賽，2021年4月的Euclid數(shù)學競賽，2021年5月的Gauss數(shù)學競賽。朱老師對參加競賽的學生進行了專業(yè)的培訓。經(jīng)過激烈角逐，以及耐心等待，上海金蘋果國際部學子脫穎而出，獲得全球前25%獎項。

眾所周知，參加競賽也有諸多益處：

?拓展思維，增強思維能力：

競賽內容多數(shù)是邊緣化知識，而且其思維方式獨特，對于思維方式的鍛煉很有益處;

?強調自學，提高自學能力：

競賽基于固定知識點，但內容涉及廣泛，很多需要學生獨立思考，平常多積累，事實證明，競賽學生的自學能力往往強于普通學生;

?學有所成，增強自信自強：

競賽過程中，無論最后結果如何，參加競賽的學生學科特長會比較明顯，加之其較強的學習意識和學習能力，會讓競賽學生在平常的學習中得心應手，會帶來更多的自信，也會很大程度上映射到學習成績方面。尤其是劍橋的學生，在統(tǒng)考的積極備考中穿梭參加競賽，并取得不斐的成績。

輔導教師朱老師：

一年一度的加拿大滑鐵盧數(shù)學競賽又落下了帷幕，看著金蘋果一年更勝一年的成績，作為指導老師的我感到十分的驕傲和欣慰。陪著不同年齡段的學生從三月一直到五月，走過了Gauss，Pascal, Euclid三次競賽, 我感受到了學生們參與培訓時的激情與對數(shù)學的熱情。數(shù)學是一門嚴謹?shù)乃囆g，而區(qū)別于一般的在校數(shù)學，競賽中的數(shù)學主要是為了考察學生的思維能力以及對知識靈活遷移等的能力，在培訓中我看到了一些學生更閃光的地方，這短短的幾個月的培訓是促進了我和學生的共同進步。

Gauss校級**：曹同學

在這次的數(shù)學競賽之前，我一直對我自己的數(shù)學沒有太大的信心，我認為我只是聽懂了老師講的知識點，而且老師講的知識全靠英語，于是我慶幸自己的英語基礎好。直到這次競賽成績出來以后，我對自己開始有了信心，其實數(shù)學里的英語基礎也很重要，這次競賽題對英語的基礎要求還算高。我很感謝這個數(shù)學競賽是我的數(shù)學更上了一層樓。

這次競賽獲獎，我還想感謝一下我親愛的數(shù)學老師，朱藝旻老師。她是我上了這么久學以來遇見的教學方式最獨特最適合我的一個老師，所以我很喜歡她。他**了我很多的方法，也占用了自己的時間來輔導我們。

Pascal校級**：李同學

I am extremely honored to be the top scorer of the Pascal Math Contest. I am also eternally grateful for the recognition I have received from it because I believe that every other student who competed were equally hard working, diligent and capable, if not more, to win this award. I never expected myself to stand on the stage and receive an award of any kind, and not first place in particular. Along the way I came here, I have had the privilege of talking to many teachers, who have patiently explained practice questions to me for hours, and my fellow classmates, who motivate me to become better.

This award means a lot to me. In the next few lines, I hope to share some of what I have learned from the opportunities this have afforded me. In the past few months, I have had serious self-doubts. I felt as if I was not accomplishing anything despite all my hard work. But, I would like to say that opportunity is for the prepared. Before this contest, I have practiced. At home, I solved questions from the past exam papers; not only from the pascal contest but from many more. And during the actual exam, many of the questions came familiar to me. They were very similar to those I have solved in the process of preparation. I think this was the reason why I was able to be one of the top scorers of this competition. Thank you.

Euclid校級**：王同學

很榮幸能夠獲得歐基里德數(shù)學競賽的獎項，正好踩著分數(shù)線進了前百分之二十五。整張卷子前五六題，大家都能拿到分，但是后面的題目難度逐漸增加，能不能拿到獎就得看后面的題會不會做了?？荚嚂r，后面三道難題，我只研究出了其中一道，那道題正好與上學期所上的牛劍拓展課中內容類似，可能也就是得到了這道題的分數(shù)，才讓我獲得這個獎。所以平時學校提供的課程要好好學習，珍惜每次學習的時間。
