2021年2月22日上午7：50，上海金蘋果雙語(yǔ)學(xué)校國(guó)際部全體師生歡聚在國(guó)際會(huì)議中心，舉行以主題為“新學(xué)期，你準(zhǔn)備好了嗎?”的開(kāi)學(xué)典禮，共同開(kāi)啟新的篇章。

親愛(ài)的老師、同學(xué)們：

2021年的曙光已經(jīng)灑向我們美麗的校園，在這辭舊迎新的美好時(shí)刻，我們代表學(xué)校，向奮發(fā)向上、孜孜以求的全體教師，向努力學(xué)習(xí)、追求上進(jìn)的全體同學(xué)，致以最親切的問(wèn)候和最誠(chéng)摯的新年祝福!

2020年國(guó)際部在閱讀課程化發(fā)展，德育課程化發(fā)展，職業(yè)規(guī)劃與升學(xué)指導(dǎo)課程化發(fā)展都取得了較好的成績(jī)。2020年美國(guó)課程中心在托?？荚囍杏袃擅瑢W(xué)取得了115分的高分，多名同學(xué)獲得了100分以上的好成績(jī)，李可欣同學(xué)被康奈爾大學(xué)早申錄取;劍橋中心同學(xué)在雅思考試中也有取得7.5分高分的好成績(jī)，多名同學(xué)被帝國(guó)理工學(xué)院，UCL，KCL等高等級(jí)名校錄取;華文中心很多同學(xué)都在備考復(fù)旦，交大，人民大學(xué)的入學(xué)考試，預(yù)祝大家取得更加優(yōu)異的成績(jī)。2020年學(xué)部建立了基于學(xué)生心理的哈格空間，搭架了沙盤治療框架，為學(xué)生心理發(fā)展保駕護(hù)航。不僅如此，本學(xué)期國(guó)際部在外教質(zhì)量監(jiān)控和管理方面也取得了一定的成績(jī)，一批優(yōu)秀的外籍教師團(tuán)隊(duì)加盟金蘋果學(xué)校，為金蘋果國(guó)際化發(fā)展添磚加瓦。

為了提升學(xué)生成績(jī)，切實(shí)促進(jìn)學(xué)生學(xué)業(yè)成績(jī)的提升，學(xué)校組織晚自修培優(yōu)補(bǔ)差，狠抓教學(xué)質(zhì)量，促進(jìn)同學(xué)們?nèi)娑袀€(gè)性地發(fā)展，2021年我們推出了金蘋果學(xué)校新的晚自修方案。國(guó)際部晚自修主要分為兩個(gè)階段具體落實(shí)：**階段：17：45--20：15，即**晚自修，根據(jù)上學(xué)期學(xué)生期末考試成績(jī)，以提升學(xué)生成績(jī)，培優(yōu)補(bǔ)差為主。具體來(lái)講，美國(guó)課程以英語(yǔ)和AP統(tǒng)考科目為主，華文以HSK，英語(yǔ)和數(shù)學(xué)為主，劍橋以英語(yǔ)和統(tǒng)考科目為主。第二階段：20：30--21：30，即第二晚自修，以提優(yōu)補(bǔ)差類課程為主，以特色類和娛樂(lè)類課程為輔。華文中心主要以補(bǔ)差為主，劍橋和美國(guó)中心主要以提優(yōu)為主。另外，學(xué)生可以在第二晚自修充分發(fā)揮自己的個(gè)性，培養(yǎng)自己的特長(zhǎng)，也可以選擇繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)和自習(xí)。第二晚自習(xí)除了部分還選在自習(xí)和學(xué)生的同學(xué)外，其他同學(xué)以班級(jí)為單位選擇特色類和娛樂(lè)類課程。

新學(xué)期我們期望所有同學(xué)樹立正確的學(xué)習(xí)理念。請(qǐng)所有同學(xué)堅(jiān)信：學(xué)習(xí)不能改變?nèi)松钠瘘c(diǎn)，但可以改變?nèi)松慕K點(diǎn);學(xué)習(xí)不能改變?nèi)松拈L(zhǎng)度，但可以改變?nèi)松膶挾取＝虒W(xué)不如要學(xué)，要學(xué)不如會(huì)學(xué)，會(huì)學(xué)不如好學(xué)，好學(xué)不如樂(lè)學(xué)。請(qǐng)大家多去嘗試自主學(xué)習(xí)，合作探究，集體交流和共同提升，去感受學(xué)習(xí)，領(lǐng)悟知識(shí)，思考問(wèn)題，提升技能。

最后我想說(shuō)的是，評(píng)判一所學(xué)校怎么樣，我們不需要聽(tīng)匯報(bào)，也不需要看各種統(tǒng)計(jì)資料，只需要看學(xué)生和老師們的眼神：好學(xué)校的學(xué)生和老師眼睛里透露的都是自信，學(xué)生是求知的欲望和對(duì)知識(shí)的尊重，老師是職業(yè)的自豪感，精力充沛和探索的興趣，都是濃濃的書卷氣!在這里和各位老師和同學(xué)共勉，謝謝大家!

Beloved staff and dearest students

A very good morning to each and everyone of you.It is indeed great to see all of you gathered in the morning after a short while away, I have always questioned myself?

What is so special about success (Cheng gong)? Why can’t I be second or third in anything I do? Is it necessary to have success (cheng gong) always?

I would say yes Success gives you fame (shen ming ) and fame gives you notable status (mian zi).

Now, what is the secret of success?

If we dig and explore the secret of success there is only one thought behind it

“Patience (nai xin) and Perseverance” (yi Li)

All great achievers have reached victory through constant Perseverance. Famous scientists and sports persons never gave up and stood with patience till they tasted victory.

It is rightly said that “Anything well begun is half done”. Similarly I cannot deny that anything that is started with positivity (ji jie Xing) is already done

Honestly, I don’t think my tips to get a good score of TOEFL exam is useful. I believe that a lot of you will have no problem with the reading and listening section because I think you guys will figure out these problems as long as you have a strong will and patience.

However, most of the Asian students, including myself, have some difficulties on the speaking section. To overcome such difficulties, we should not misunderstand the value and purpose of language. I believe the reason why we are learning a language is to express our ideas properly and have a fluent conversation.

Some people, especially Asian people, usually call their English accent by themselves as Chinglish, Konglish, and Janglis, and these are not proper English, or at least I don’t think so. Have you heard about Singlish? This is Singaporean English, or Indian English. These are all part of English, because the usage of English is so broad, so people will have different English accents. The point is we don’t really need to have any concern about our accent. Actually, the thing that we have to be concerned about is intonation, proper sentences, fluency, and wise word choices. So when other people try to point out your accent then screw them. My English is a mixture of some kind a middle class Filipino English and Konglish. Speaking English is not about having a British accent or an American accent. The purpose of speaking is to deliver your idea to someone else.

The second way to improve your English speaking is very simple. Having a conversation with other people in English as much as possible. I think you can deal with that in our school. Don’t be afraid to use English with your local teacher, those teachers are really smart and capable, and don’t be afraid of surrounding yourself with foreign students or teachers. Screw the bias and prejudice from the mass media or internet. You can always start a conversation with foreigners with simple and lame topics. How is your day? Or how is it in China? We are always welcome to have a chitchat with you. I believe being a social person and breaking the language and cultural barrier is more important than having a high score on the TOEFL exam because lots of us will study abroad and spend our time with various people.

Finally, the last thing I want to mention is something that is not related to this topic. I think we are the luckiest people in the world. Our parents financially support us and give us a chance to see the world. There are millions of people in China who are capable and willing to study abroad, yet they cannot. So please don’t lose this precious opportunity and share your privilege after college to help those millions of brothers and sisters and make your country and a world a better place.

感謝每一位辛勤付出的老師們，沒(méi)有你們的孜孜不倦，就沒(méi)有學(xué)生們的豐碩果實(shí)。在上學(xué)期期末評(píng)優(yōu)中涌現(xiàn)出一批品學(xué)兼優(yōu)的學(xué)生，劍橋中心有一些同學(xué)參加了加拿大滑鐵盧大學(xué)中高級(jí)數(shù)學(xué)競(jìng)賽，并且在比賽過(guò)程中表現(xiàn)優(yōu)異獲得了許多獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)。
