F 1 簽證流程

?Before you can apply at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate for an F or M student visa, you must first apply to and be accepted by a SEVP approved school.

?When you are accepted by the U.S. school you plan to attend, you will be enrolled in the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS). You must pay the SEVIS I-901 Fee.

?The U.S. school will provide you with a Form I-20 to present to the consular officer when you attend your visa interview.

F1 簽證流程

?付大學(xué)注冊(cè)押金，等待I20表格， 其中*含重要信息SEVIS No.和School Code;

?核對(duì)表格上的個(gè)人信息，發(fā)現(xiàn)錯(cuò)誤與大學(xué); 只需要在表格上簽名。

?ceac.state.gov/genniv/, 進(jìn)入該填寫(xiě) DS160 表格;

?填完轉(zhuǎn)入CRI 美國(guó)簽證網(wǎng)絡(luò)申請(qǐng)系統(tǒng)，如下：

?cgifederal.secure.force.com, 填寫(xiě)信息開(kāi)賬戶(hù)，面簽(打印單);

?申請(qǐng)費(fèi)160 美元，打印表格;只支持借記卡，傾向中信銀行，領(lǐng)取護(hù)照在中信銀行網(wǎng)點(diǎn)。

? www.FMJfee.com, 填寫(xiě)I-901 表格，付SEVIS美國(guó)國(guó)土安全核查費(fèi);

?申請(qǐng)費(fèi)200美元，支持借記卡信用卡，打印付費(fèi)憑證。

?帶齊材料去面簽，詳細(xì)清單見(jiàn)后頁(yè)。

通常問(wèn)題

?不能在開(kāi)課前30天進(jìn)入美國(guó)，最早可以距開(kāi)課前120天開(kāi)始申請(qǐng)簽證。

?提供最近6個(gè)月銀行對(duì)賬單，證明足夠資金支持留學(xué)。

?面簽通常大約2分鐘，根據(jù)具體情況一般不超過(guò)10分鐘。

?同時(shí)收到幾個(gè)大學(xué)的I20表格，如果臨時(shí)改變主意，可以想去的大學(xué)更改SEVIS記錄，不需重新交SEVIS費(fèi)。

?如果有未過(guò)期的美國(guó)旅游簽證，可以同時(shí)保留兩個(gè)有效簽證，不需要取消旅游簽證。

?不要在面簽前兩天更改DS160記錄。

提前30 天入境

?Students are not permitted to enter the United States earlier than 30 days before the start date of their program.

?If you wish to enter earlier than 30 days before your start date, you must qualify for a visitor (B) visa. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials may admit you to the United States on the visitor (B) visa, but you must apply to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for a change of status to student (F-1or M-1) status.

?You may not begin your course of study until the change of status is approved, and you may encounter lengthy processing times.

F1簽證面簽可能問(wèn)到的問(wèn)題

?Why did you choose to study in the US instead of joining the University in your home country?

?Why did you choose the University and why is it the best for you?

?What are your test scores ( SAT, TOEFL, IELTS ), GPA, and your overall performance as a student in the past?

F-1 簽證拒簽的原因

?If your F1 visa application is denied, it is based on US immigration law, the reason and section of law you are denied under will be given to you in your paperwork.拒簽理由會(huì)書(shū)面給出。

?Some applications are denied because the applicant failed to provide necessary information or supporting documentation as required.一些拒簽是由于當(dāng)場(chǎng)無(wú)法提供相關(guān)文件。

?If you do not sufficiently demonstrate that the strong ties to your home country will influence you to return home after your stay in the US, denied under INA section 214(b), Visa Qualifications and Immigrant Intent. 不能充分說(shuō)明和祖國(guó)緊密的關(guān)系(移民傾向)

入境須知

?A visa allows a foreign citizen to travel to a U.S. port-of-entry (generally an airport) and request permission to enter the United States. A visa does not guarantee entry into the United States. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials at the port-of-entry have authority to permit or deny admission to the United States. If you are allowed to enter the United States, the CBP official will provide an admission stamp or paper Form I-94, Arrival/Departure Record. Learn about procedures for students (with F or M visas) entering the United States on the CBP website under Arrival Procedures for Students or Exchange Visitors.

?Taken in front of a plain white or off-white background

?Taken in full-face view directly facing the camera

?With a neutral facial expression and both eyes open

?Taken in clothing that you normally wear on a daily basis

?Uniforms should not be worn in your photo, except religious clothing that is worn daily.

?Do not wear a hat or head covering that obscures the hair or hairline, unless worn daily for a religious purpose. Your full face must be visible, and the head covering must not cast any shadows on your face.

?Headphones, wireless hands-free devices, or similar items are not acceptable in your photo.

?Gather and prepare the following required documents before your visa interview:

?Passport valid for travel to the United States - Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your period of stay in the United States (unless exempt by country-specific agreements). If more than one person is included in your passport, each person who needs a visa must submit a separate application.

?Nonimmigrant Visa Application, Form DS-160 confirmation page

?Application fee payment receipt, if you are required to pay before your interview

?Photo – You will upload your photo while completing the online Form DS-160. If the photo upload fails, you must bring one printed photo in the format explained in the Photograph Requirements.

?Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant (F-1) Student Status-For Academic and Language Students, Form I-20 or Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant (M-1) Student Status for Vocational Students, Form I-20 – Your school will send you a SEVIS-generated Form I-20 once they have entered your information in the SEVIS database. You and your school official must sign the Form I-20. All students, their spouse and minor children if they intend to reside in the United States with the student, must be registered in the Student and Exchange Visitor System (SEVIS). Each person receives an individual Form I-20.

?Review the instructions for how to apply for a visa on the website of theembassy or consulate where you will apply. Additional documents may be requested to establish that you are qualified. For example, additional requested documents may include evidence of:

?Your academic preparation, such as:

–Transcripts, diplomas, degrees, or certificates from schools you attended; and

–Standardized test scores required by your U.S. school;

?Your intent to depart the United States upon completion of the course of study; and how you will pay all educational, living and travel costs.

注意事項(xiàng)

?美國(guó)領(lǐng)事館簽證處地址：

南京西路1038號(hào)梅龍鎮(zhèn)廣場(chǎng)八樓

?提前一小時(shí)左右到，提前半小時(shí)左右放人進(jìn)去。

?美領(lǐng)館只能帶入透明單層文件夾，比較好準(zhǔn)備兩個(gè)透明文件夾，一個(gè)裝必要的：護(hù)照、面簽確認(rèn)單、DS160確認(rèn)信、簽證發(fā)票(中信)號(hào)牌;另外一個(gè)裝補(bǔ)充資料。

?文件，錢(qián)*(里面不能有硬幣)，不能帶*、手機(jī)、鑰匙、食物等進(jìn)入。

面簽當(dāng)日流程

?樓下部分：

1.給**人員出示《面簽確認(rèn)單》，**人員在記錄里查到你的編號(hào)寫(xiě)在你的《面簽確認(rèn)單上》，并給你一張入館須知(也有可能沒(méi)有)。

2.憑寫(xiě)過(guò)編號(hào)的《面簽確認(rèn)單》拿號(hào)牌(一張封塑的卡片)。建議先弄清楚哪里是發(fā)牌子的再去排隊(duì)。如果需要存*的話，拿到號(hào)牌后就可以去存*了。

3.樓下一般會(huì)有幾個(gè)隊(duì)伍在排，問(wèn)問(wèn)**人員幾點(diǎn)的是排哪個(gè)隊(duì)。

4.不要理會(huì)無(wú)關(guān)的推銷(xiāo)人員，等到保安放你們進(jìn)去之后，按指示到寫(xiě)字樓的電梯處上8樓。

?領(lǐng)事館內(nèi):

1.上樓后，在簽證大廳的8樓外，人多的話還需要排隊(duì)。按**人員的指揮。排隊(duì)時(shí)會(huì)有人拿來(lái)一個(gè)簡(jiǎn)易文件夾，讓你 把《面簽確認(rèn)單》、護(hù)照、簽證費(fèi)發(fā)票等放入，基本上就是裝必須材料的那個(gè)袋子。

2. 等排到了，告訴門(mén)口的保安你們的簽證號(hào)/姓名/號(hào)，他會(huì)在登記 表上找到你們的名字畫(huà)個(gè)勾，并檢查你們的護(hù)照和DS160確認(rèn)信，會(huì)有**人員給你的護(hù)照上貼條形碼。

3. 安檢：任何金屬物品、電子產(chǎn)品都不能帶入，需要解皮帶、脫皮鞋。

4. 注意保持安靜。
