上海領(lǐng)科教育國(guó)際高中將舉辦科學(xué)比賽，本次科學(xué)競(jìng)賽的舉辦旨在推廣大家學(xué)習(xí)和研究科學(xué)的熱情。這項(xiàng)比賽基于學(xué)科本身創(chuàng)建，不僅可以豐富大家的課外活動(dòng)，對(duì)于創(chuàng)造力和科學(xué)基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)也是一次很好的提升。同時(shí)，還能展示同學(xué)們多樣的技能和團(tuán)隊(duì)合作性，甚至對(duì)申請(qǐng)大學(xué)也有幫助。這些都與學(xué)校的理念不謀而合。

比賽主題是什么?

這項(xiàng)競(jìng)賽的主題是“The Universe Explained”。選題涵蓋了：物理、數(shù)學(xué)、生物、化學(xué)、地理、計(jì)算機(jī)科學(xué)甚至心理學(xué)等廣泛的主題。這個(gè)視頻應(yīng)該既有趣又有普及性，能解釋一些大家都可以理解的有趣的話題。

比賽形式是怎樣的?

每個(gè)參賽隊(duì)伍需要提交一段2-4分鐘的錄像，以一種簡(jiǎn)單的方式去展示并且傳播某一項(xiàng)科學(xué)。(注：每個(gè)隊(duì)伍規(guī)模需要3到6個(gè)學(xué)生共同參與。)與此同時(shí)，每個(gè)隊(duì)伍還需制作自己的中英文宣傳冊(cè)。這項(xiàng)比賽的前三名隊(duì)伍將有機(jī)會(huì)把他們的視頻展示在階梯教室并且放映給學(xué)生老師們看。我們將會(huì)給每位參賽者都授予證書(shū)，比賽的前三名將會(huì)得到額外的獎(jiǎng)杯和現(xiàn)金獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)。

對(duì)于比賽的要求有哪些?

●視頻及格式要求

視頻最多不超過(guò)四分鐘，且文件大小為100M到300M，以下格式提交：

.avi、.mpg、.mov、.wmv、mp

文件備注名稱(chēng)為：TeamName_VideoTitle_MonthYear

●傳單要求

傳單應(yīng)該做成A4大小，任何容易被復(fù)印和分發(fā)給觀眾的設(shè)計(jì)都可以接受。傳單應(yīng)與視頻的內(nèi)容統(tǒng)一，中英雙譯。所有的圖片和文字需為參賽者的原創(chuàng)或注明出處。傳單的實(shí)用性、翻譯質(zhì)量和設(shè)計(jì)都將被考慮在內(nèi)。

●其他要求

希望參賽者的視頻充滿創(chuàng)意。視頻的開(kāi)頭可以做成動(dòng)漫、喜劇、電腦動(dòng)畫(huà)、紀(jì)錄片、戲劇、滑稽戲等形式。所有用于參賽的音頻和視頻，*括背景音樂(lè)和視覺(jué)素材，必須來(lái)源于原創(chuàng)或表明出處。開(kāi)頭不得出現(xiàn)第三方素材，或已注冊(cè)的知名品牌商標(biāo)。視頻的科學(xué)性、質(zhì)量和公眾性將被考慮在內(nèi)。

●時(shí)間點(diǎn)：

2017年1月6號(hào)，小組報(bào)名時(shí)間截止

2017年3月1日，提交錄像以及宣傳冊(cè)時(shí)間截止

之后，材料會(huì)有兩周的審核時(shí)間。

三組優(yōu)秀團(tuán)隊(duì)的頒獎(jiǎng)典禮會(huì)在三月中旬舉行。

Q：Why did you organize the competition?

Basically I organize this for fun, something different to do of science because a lot of science in school is for exam. But the science industry is much bigger. Science communication is really a big industry. Telling somebody a fact about science or teaching are all science communication. Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computing and Maths, all of them are Science.

Q：What do you think it will benefit our students?

It will. Because people who take part in will create videos that show a lot of their skills, show their team work , show how they are organized, and show their creativity. It’s also going to show they are willing to do something different. If you are writing your personal statement, you say I’m interested in science or science communication, you need to say something to prove it. This competition will prove you have the interest.

Q：What’s your expectation of the competition?

I hope a lot of people will participate. In the end, three videos will be chosen, but I hope more than three. Apart from the video, they also need to make a leaflet. Maybe all members will distribute their responsibilities clearly like graphics designer, director and producer.

Q：How will this competition be judged?

Once they are submitted, they will go to a panel of judges. The judges will be made up of some staff of our school. For example, the leaflet will be judged by the art or marketing department. Different people from different department will judge different areas. Everybody who participates will get a certificate to show he/she has take part in the competition.
